I wouldn't be surprised. I watched it because of the hype, but stayed for the lolis, characters and storyline.

Yes, but it would have been less enjoyable if they have been 60.
35 is the limit after that it's no more fun to watch !

Not being a total lolicon, I still would have watched it if they were older. Though since I first heard about it via 4chan, who liked it because of the lolis and I decided to watch it to see what the hype was about, I might not have ended up watching it.

But the thing is, you just can't help but fall in love with the characters. The only difference is lolicons don't let the fact that they're 9 stop them.

I think it was a good ending. Sure there wasn't an epic final battle like A's, but they wrapped up each character arc nicely. That's what I really care about. I'd say StrikerS is my favourite season because of the characters. I'm also hoping for a 4th season with more Hayate.

How was the conclusion rushed? The main conflict pretty much ended in ep 25, 26 was just wrapping it up and then the afterwards. I don't think it was rushed at all.

There wasn't really much to develop with Erio actually. He has a troubled past, but he's already gotten over that. It resurfaces in ep 17, but that was just running parallel to Vivio's situation. I don't think they can really have any major developments for him until he hits puberty and has a different sort of issues to deal with.

Not much else to do with Lutecia either. She was a nice girl that Jail manipulated into doing his bidding. She just wanted to be with her mother again. After getting befriended by Caro and Erio she sees the error of her ways and repents.

I too would have liked MORE, but I find the ammount given was sufficient to satisfy me. I would have really loved to see the kind of stuff Hayate had to go through to get and maintain her own unit though.

Not really. It's be rather easy actually. You can even see it at the end of StrikerS. After the Blaster 3 Starlight Breaker, you see Vivio telling Nanoha to stay back and let her get to her feet herself. Whereas earlier she just cried until some one helped her up. This shows that she's going away from the 'whining girl' and is becoming more independant.

If you want vivio that badly, i think they better start new title. Not 'Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha' anymore, It becomes 'Magical Girl Lyrical Vivio' or something like that.

Facepalms Have you not read a thing I've said? She's just a child. You can't fault her for that. At one time everyone was a cry baby. It's all a part of growing up.

At any rate, 90% of anime out there have whiney, wussy protagonists. So if anything, being a cry baby makes her even MORE main character material.

i agree they're overshadowed by Nanoha and Fate... Seeing them as main heroine is not bad idea.
But, that's mean you must rid Nanoha and Fate from fourth season, or give them minor role. Don't let GSD tragedy happening again, where the supposed-be protagonist beca,e a lesser character...
