For those interested, here is a link to the (mostly) clean OP. This is exactly the content that will be used in the regular releases of A's which are hopefully coming up soon. The last two weeks have been spent doing countless hours of test encodes with different avisynth filters trying to clean up the awful macroblocking and noise on the R2 dvd's. I've more or less settled on a filterchain now so we're getting closer to a finished product.

You will note one obvious thing: No karaoke! Frankly, it's too much work and I like clean video. The lyrics and translation will be softsubbed like the rest of the dialog in the final releases so people can simply turn it off if they don't want to see it. I'm currently considering including two scripts in each release: one with lyrics and dialog, and one with just dialog. For episode 1, the lyrics+dialog script would be default, and for the rest, the dialog only script would be default. Oh, and there will likely be an unstyled script (.srt) for you jerks using VLC and its braindead subtitler.

Anyway, grab the video HERE and thanks for being patient! One last thing, MPlayer doesn't seem to like how the file is muxed, but it should work most everywhere else. There is a patch to fix this that was put into MPlayer CVS in July if you're feeling adventurous.
