i suggest u release an xvid version only

and dont bother telling me h264 is high quality

ur h264 dont look high quality enough when ur using LQ raws. therefore i dont see any valid reason of using h264 unless ur intend to show everyone how terrible ur h264 encodes is

Well john123x, all i can say is that there are some people who like having the same or better quality in a h264 encoded file with a smaller file size. And there are people who like having softsub. The xvid version even with similar quality will be bigger, that's a point to consider.

I guess you're either stupid or a troll. Maybe both. First of all is the video quality bad because of the raws, not because of the encoder. And they are using h264 for smaller file sizes (60Mb smaller than the xvid version).

This is the BEST quality yet. If you want better, you'll have to wait another 3 WEEKS until the proper HD raws come out. If those don't satisfy you, you'll have to wait until JULY for the first DVD. Chances are, we wont do another version until the DVDs anyway, so don't hold your breath.

And as for the xvid release, it will come shortly after the mkv. Like, at least a day.

And as Ren said, the xvid quality is the same as the h264. But the file size is incredibly bigger

We more or less came to the consensus that the first part is "fiya" (fire) and the second could be some kind of -bl. Original suggestions included Fireblade, Fireball, Vibrate, Variable, and a few others but Fireball made the most sense being that it is...well... a fire ball and it just happens to have a magical barrier around it. LOL SPOILERS.

Just a quick thank you for this release. And i personally don't worry to much about the names since i am guessing it is pretty hard getting an accurate translation on it since it also depends on how the person is saying it. As long as the general idea is their then it is fine. Well anyways again thank you so much for all your hardwork and time spent out of your personal lifes to give us this release. Thanks and looking forward to the rest of the series.

Doing so would add around 18MB to each file that is released. If you have Windows 2000, Windows XP or Windows Server 2003 you can install the Japanese Fonts via the Regional and Language Options in the Control Panel. If you are using a different OS then you'll have to do the research on how to install East Asian Fonts or Japanese Fonts for yourself. For Windows users the Japanese Font names are MSGOTHIC.TTC and MSMINCHO.TTC... well according to my Windows XP OS. Good luck!

I've been hearing this a lot for some reason, so I shall explain it for all those nit picking bastards out there who may stumble in here to bitch about the smallest things we do.

After seeing the room Nanoha and Fate stay in on ep3, some people have been going off, asking why we had Rein say "rooms" in episode 2.
....
Seriously, it really is nit picking, and its rather pathetic. Unlike English, the Japanese language has no direct plurals. There's no letter or character on the end of a Japaneses word that indicates the speaker is talking about more than one of whatever that word is. The only exception to this rule that I'm aware of, is the -tachi honorific, where -tachi is added to the end of a name to indicate that person/thing and those associated with it.

Therefore, we had no idea if Rein was saying the single room that Fate and Nanoha would be living in, or the seperate rooms that Fate and Nanoha would be living in. We took the logical solution, and assumed that they were staying in seperate rooms. Any other subber would make the same mistake if they had not seen episode 3 before releasing episode 2.

I didn't even notice any mistakes myself. My mind has a tendency to auto-correct almost any English spelling and grammer error. Very good job with the releasing of the Nanoha StrikerS searies thus far... I look forward to future releases from you guys!
