Well we'll try our best to get it out because god knows we'd like to get all this backlog off done with :P Or maybe that's just me. Either way I've timed ep7 already and will do ep8 tomorrow.

As for editing, well, that'll depend on when we can get kat down from the monitor.

Kiety got in touch. Says the script is about 85% translated and he plans to have it done before next week. He's been having problems with the raw he was using apparently (I can't believe he was using the 100MB FLV to translate with... ::palmtoface:: )

at times like this, this anon is thankful that he's borned a Chink, and could speak, write and read Chinese well.

god knows how consistantly fast chinks subs are (ep.9 was already out since two days ago)

Ara ara, folks please there is no need for a riot over this. It is pointless to argue over who is quicker or faster when releasing things like this. China and Japan are like neighbours so it is understandable that the folks in China would be quick to get subs out for the newest Nanoha StrikerS episode.

I don't think it is right to be asking for or offering other groups subbed work on DGz Message Board, it is quite rude to the staff at DGz as well as the staff at Nanoha whom are both working to get these episodes released for us. If you want the Chinese subbed release it would be best to search for it yourself. As for the rest of us whom can only read, write and speak English... we must patiently wait for the great work coming from Nanoha-DGz.

Actually no. The only reason chink subs are fast is because they have a dedicated team that doesn't actually mind spending an hour or so to put some effort in translating/subbing. It really doesn't take much time to translate/sub a 16 minute animu (take away the OP and ED and non-dialogue scenes, they should be just that long), rly

I'm a chink, and I helped /a/ in providing the translation scripts for Manabi's ep.11 sometime ago, based on the chink sub that I've watched. It took me an hour to do that.

It is unfortunate that the translation efforts just happen to clash with the busy schedule (moving house, etc.) of the DGz team presently. Give them some time, folks. I am sure they will be back in full force soon.

As for the chinese translations.. They are insane, really. I mean, there are some chinese groups out there who can create counterfeit goods that are as good, if not better, than the original, and faster too. I cannot imagine how much of their life they have to sacrifice to achieve that. And I honestly don't want to see the members of DGz putting aside everything in their life (possibly even food!) to churn out translations like that. It's hazardous (not to mention scary to witness) to their well-being, I tell ya.

I can be shot.

Oh, and don't forget the great quality control from DGz too. The very reason I am here, really. I find it in me to want to support subs with excellent quality like the ones from DGz, which is precisely why I find that there is nothing wrong with the wait.

Personally, I can possibly translate an anime episode in an hour, but the translation can be so broken that some parts are incorrigible and incomprehensible. So, if that's anything to go by, good quality subs are really worth the wait.

I am now gonna see if i can get JJS to close this thread. It's not being used what it was intended for.
