If you liked the first opening... you'll enjoy watching it once more. Sorry, no new opening.
Episode 16 was an introduction; ep 17 is the strong stuff. Harsh fights, a huge revelations, and a couple of flashbacks.
Insanely strong episode.
Is there REALLY a second opening or are they just making fun of us?
Given the importance of episode 17, you can say that it's the end of part 1, and part 2 begins.
So maybe the new op will appear at episode 18. Or maybe not :-p
>>2
I don't know. I did hear rumors about a second op, but nothing official.
OMG eps 17 is so good. I new Strikers was going to be good but this is freaking good!
It's taking all my willpower NOT to watch the raw so I can watch it subbes and understand everything.....wonder how long I can hold on?
Ran out of willpower...watched the RAW......my jaw is still on the floor.

Wow, that was fast. You don't have much willpower, have you? ;-p
I can't blame you though. It was hard waiting for Nicovideo to actually work, and I watched the episode about 2 hours after it was aired. And then I spent an insane amount of hours discussing the episode on Animesuki's forum.
BTW kyaro looks good when wet >.<

You need to drop by IRC sometime Fabien.
(irc.rizon.net #nanoha)

But the only thing that actually happens into that channel is about space and physics talk, with a few others ;;
I'm amazed how DGz actually made it to the 8th episode with only... 1, 2 translators, both which have lives.
JJS: we need translators with no life
wow that was an interesting episode, the shit hit a jet engine.

After seeing ep 17 I love Subaru even more now... very great episode! I can't wait for 18 and 19... shoot can't wait to see the end!
Subaru is INDEED the successor of The White Devil

Sorry, but I hate IRC.
On a forum and, better yet, on Usenet, you can think before you type, and you can read and reply to messages that have been posted hours ago.
On IRC, if you're not there exactly on the right minute, well, you lose.
Actually I can't even fathom the interest people have in IRC.
> As far as I know, Subaru has a mechanical arm ;
Funny how they managed to keep that bit of information from us for 16 frigging episodes. As if all of a sudden, the lead writer has an enlightenment, ran down to the basement where the rest of the writers are, and said, "Hey guyz! Subaru has an mechanical arm by the way. so uh.. make sure you somehow write it into the script for episode 17." and then proceed to the art department and leaving memos about the idea on everyone's desk as a surprise.
Episode 15: Subaru and Ginga undertake a physical by Marie, who's an engineer, not a doctor.
Episode 16: Jail, who has just made 12 artificial girls, is interested in Subaru, and the Numbers call her "type-0".
Episode 17: We learn that Subaru has a mechanical arm. So does Ginga (see attached pic, from 13:11). And the Numbers decide to abduct Ginga.
Late revelations are not something unusual in MGLN. Jail Scaglietti, the Numbers, Project F, Vivio, Subaru and her mother and sister, all that might be neatly connected.
Another point to ponder: in episode 11, Subaru describes artificial mages as "Children fabricated from high-quality genetic material, then receiving injections and cybernetic implants". Hey, it's airhead-Subaru, who didn't know about Lost Logia in episode 2, who explains that to Kyaro! Doesn't that feel weird? Where the hell did she learn about that?

Fabien, are you sure you're not a staff of MSLNS? You sure seem to know a lot.
>You sure seem to know a lot.
How so? I watched the 17 episodes released so far, that's all.
Of course, my sentence "all that might be neatly connected" is pure speculation, but indeed everything points to Jail's experiences about artificial mages.
Now all that's left to wonder is Jail's intentions about Vivio, about Ginga, and about the TSAB. And how Nanoha will save the day. Hey, the series isn't called "Lyrical Nanoha" for nothing!
Well, I'm hoping more of a grand accumulation of all the Aces (max power, limiter all release) and Strikers and launching a combined attack on the real demon in the show.
In Nanoha, we had seen that Fate was a victim of circumstances.
In As, we learnt that the real demon wasn't Reinforce I but the alterted Defense Programme that corrupted the entire Tomb
Then there is the thing with Nanoha's injuries that caused so much foreshadowing in the first few episodes.
The way the damage was described, the fact that she had to learn how to walk again...
Maybe there are some robo-parts in Nanoha as well, even if it's no full replacement-job?
>the fact that she had to learn how to walk again...Maybe there are some robo-parts in Nanoha
That's a hight possibilities, Since the Doctor spagat seem to look at her too.
Like some result of an experiment in some project.
It's now Magical Girl Bionic Nanoha
>the fact that she had to learn how to walk again... Maybe there are some robo-parts in Nanoha
Actually, seeing the quality of that technology, I think Nanoha would have had less trouble to learn to walk had she some mechanical parts.
MechaGodWINGSEEDZTurnA Godzilla did it for me
