People may say whatever they think of StrikerS. The start was a blurred line, but it remains a worthy watch Nanoha series. However it's indeed not my favorite season and probably not the best. Though I will recommend the season if you liked the earlier seasons. I'm happy with StrikerS (lovely Vivio)

I think it was a good ending. Sure there wasn't an epic final battle like A's, but they wrapped up each character arc nicely. That's what I really care about. I'd say StrikerS is my favourite season because of the characters. I'm also hoping for a 4th season with more Hayate.

The characters were far from being wrapped up nicely, most of them anyway.
4th season with more hayate seems unlikely now. Consider A's Hayate's last shining moments.

How was the conclusion rushed? The main conflict pretty much ended in ep 25, 26 was just wrapping it up and then the afterwards. I don't think it was rushed at all.
There wasn't really much to develop with Erio actually. He has a troubled past, but he's already gotten over that. It resurfaces in ep 17, but that was just running parallel to Vivio's situation. I don't think they can really have any major developments for him until he hits puberty and has a different sort of issues to deal with.
Not much else to do with Lutecia either. She was a nice girl that Jail manipulated into doing his bidding. She just wanted to be with her mother again. After getting befriended by Caro and Erio she sees the error of her ways and repents.
I too would have liked MORE, but I find the ammount given was sufficient to satisfy me. I would have really loved to see the kind of stuff Hayate had to go through to get and maintain her own unit though.
