PS3 May Stop Sucking In 2007
Thursday, March 8th, 2007The GDC news that Kotaku broke (at great discomfort) a half-week early about Sony’s plans for the PS3 was lightly detailed yesterday. The new Sony “Home” concept seems like a blending of the Mii Channel with Xbox Live A/V chat and Achievements, the Sims Online, and Gamespy. Overall it’s quite exciting thinking about that metaphor potentially even replacing the XMB. Similarlly, “Little Big Planet” looks like a fantastic blend of puzzle-solving, platforming, and cooperative gameplay. I highly recommend downloading the “Little Big Planet” video in HD if possible, its the first title since GT HD, FF XIII, and MGS4 that looks incredible IMHO.
